Neem Karoli Baba said "“Money should be used to help others.”
I am sure what he meant was "Help out where you can." I may be wrong but if you have created wealth and spending your wealth does not matter to you, then you're in a position to help others and it is a very wonderful and strong position you have created in your life.
If you're in a position to be less worried about your finances than others, it is the perfect time to figure out where you can pitch in. For those of us who can cut our budgets and spending and realize we have money to offer, we should figure out in our own communities , how to offer support to those in need,
New studies attest to the benefits of giving—not just for the recipients but for the givers’ health and happiness, and for the strength of entire communities. Being kind and generous leads you to perceive others more positively and more charitably. Giving evokes gratitude. Gratitude is integral to happiness, health, and social bonds. When we give, we don’t only help the immediate recipient of our gift. We also spur a ripple effect of generosity through our community
